Rained in the morning, felt a little cabin fever, took the previous week off while visiting my father...all of this lead to me burying myself for 30 minutes. Felt good. Started doing push-ups twice a day; nine in the morning, nine at night.
Monday, August 11
Mini-Apple Loop (17.5 miles, not timed, Surly Cross Check Single-Speed)
Just wanted to go out for a spin. More push-ups; ten in the morning, ten at night.
Tuesday, August 12
Minnehaha Parkway (11 miles, not timed, Brompton)
Bike commute!
Mini-Apple Loop with Nokomis Loop (19.6 miles, 1 hour 13 minutes, Three Stars)
Rush hour is a horrible time to get a ride in. Forgot to do morning push-ups but got ten in before bed.
Wednesday, August 13
Nokomis Loop (3 miles, 26 minutes, Saucony Kinvara 5)
Haven't run in quite a while and I had the urge yesterday evening to run so in the morning I got up and made it happen.
Lebanon Hills (9.94 miles, 1 hour 24 minutes, Salsa El Mariachi)
First time to the local mountain biking trails. Great fun.
